I am interested in how people make decisions and pursue goals in complex situations. Currently, my research addresses how people navigate decisions influenced by behavioral "nudges" and normative perceptions. I also assess intervention efficacy via meta-analysis and collaborate with the Health and Social Media Group on the application of persuasion theory to improving online health communication. Before coming to the social psychology department at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, I earned my B.S. in Psychological Science from the University of Connecticut.
